The number of vials and sessions required varies depending on your individual needs and desired results. Most patients require three treatments spaced 6-8 weeks apart. This will be discussed during your consultation.

Massaging helps the Sculptra spread evenly beneath the skin and supports the production of new collagen. It is essential that you follow the massage schedule consistently. You will be given aftercare advice, which will also be emailed to you.

It is possible to experience some localised redness, tenderness and swelling to the area. This usually resolves within a few days. Bruising is also a possible side effect, though this is usually minimal and will take up to 7 days to resolve.

Patients report minimal discomfort during Sculptra treatments. The use of local anaesthetic during the treatment helps to reduce any potential pain. Some patients might feel a mild stinging or pressure sensation during the injections, but this is generally well-tolerated.
